Tuesday, Cohort 2, Week 4

This week in the after school tech club we worked mostly with the kids on putting voice overs into iMovie. This was super fun to see how some kids loved putting their voice into the project and had so much confidence and others were so shy and nervous. I think the kids enjoyed trying this new technology and had fun putting their own voice with their picture. In the down time in between kids putting their voices in we had a couple websites for them to explore with some educational games. This gave them a chance to play around with the computers and explore the internet while learning! I am really excited for our final project and to see how it all turns out!
We had the students come up to the computer one at a time which worked well because each child was able to focus on what he or she was going to say and not be distracted by other students. The only thing that didn't work well was that the classroom was a little noisy so some of the voice overs were a little hard to hear. Next week we will finish the voice overs and hopefully keep the noise level down in the classroom so the voice overs are easier to hear.
