Thursday, April 18th Hyalite Cohort 2 6th visit

This visit was a lot of fun! We finished taking the pictures we needed and filmed the students dancing to Katy Perry's Firework. At one point it got a little out of control. A pillow fight was started so we had to stop filming and explain to the students that even though it was a dance video they still needed to have respect for the school's property. They all seemed very receptive and we continued on. I would definitely change the venue of the video next time to a more spacious environment. I would also give the students more instruction and practice prior to filming. All in all it was a success and I would use this activity again in the future. It will be great to watch it with the students next week.
