Jordyn and I decided to team teach with the Kindergarten and first grade students for our Oweaus project. This time we did an introductory activity to get to know the students and their names. We had a fun, "About Me" worksheet for each student to fill out and we got to talk with each student and learn some interesting things about them!
After that, we began the first step for our bullying PSA. We put students into pairs to draw a bullying problem and solution that they could display in the movie. This part got a little chaotic, but that's expected in an after school setting!
Overall, the session went great and we got some fantastic pictures from the kids! It was nice to get to know them a little better and actually be able to work with them instead of just observing, like last week!
Next week we will move forward with our PSA and have the kids take pictures of each other's work to start putting together the movie. :)
