Thursday, Cohort #2, Week #1
Today went great. I loved watching the other cohorts videos and you could tell the kids were very excited about it too. The kids were fantastic, I can't wait to get to know them all a little better over the next few weeks. Over all I think we are going to need to change it up ( i.e. doing a different kinda of video, or form of presentation). This way it is different enough that the kids will have just as much fun. I can't wait to start after spring break.

I can't figure out how to make my own post, so I have to comment. On Thursday, I did not expect to see so many students at TE club. I thought there would be ten students, tops. I am excited to work with so many students at one time, because I think it will help me teaching skills; I have never tried to lead such a large group of elementary students! After viewing what the previous cohort has done, I am concerned that the students may not be excited to film a bullying video again. However, now that they already have many filming skills and such, me and my team can help build on those skills. I hope the students are excited to film again, and I think we can make a unique film that they will enjoy creating and learn from. I was very glad that the first cohort had them write down things that they enjoyed and things they would like to change; this will be helpful to my group.
