Todays visit had some ups and downs. When I arrived to get everything set up for the video to watch. the other group was using the big screen. Luckly there was another big screen in the library to watch the finished video. I was going to let the students edit the movie on their own but I could not get the video to download onto the laptops. I was working with two different programs that were not compatible. I did have a back up plan to have to children draw pictures of themselves and talk to each other. The object behind this activity is to show that everyone has feelings and likes that could be similar to our own. Being a bully to others might eliminate the opportunity to have a friend.
Next I would bring the camera and down load directly onto the laptops. I would also put them in groups to finish the final project.
I was glad to have the other group present their final projects to our group to take some time.
