First of all sorry for this late post. But this last tuesday tech club went fairly well, I thought. even though the second graders weren't with us it wasn't detremental to them being part of our group. Hopefully next time they can be a part of our group so they can pair-share with our kindergarteners and 1st graders.
In my group we jumped right into getting our computers and started manuvering the PBSKIDS website of making a comic strip. for the most part my group did really well with behavior and directions. my students started dropping like flies right after we got started so not very many kids got the chance to use the website. By the time we got done with the computers we started creating our script and I only had three kids by then. Overall I think we are off to a great start with our script and hopefully we can start creating our comics on tues. Reflecting as a teacher, I feel I have been improving on classroom management and handling the behavior conflicts better than I have before.
